Face ao período que atravessamos, e com o objectivo de minimizar quaisquer riscos relativos ao COVID-19, a CONSULMAR decidiu implementar um Plano de Contingência que permitirá manter a operação e continuar a disponibilizar os nossos serviços da forma habitual. Funchal Airport Expansion – Phase 2 (2 781m Runway) – Madeira Island

General project of the airport infrastructures, with emphasis on the extension of the runway in 1000 m, in a portico structure of reinforced concrete and founded on 60m high pre stressed piles over a protected sea embankment. Further changes were undertaken in the surrounding road network, involving the construction of a 400m long passage, in tunnel and viaduct, and the re-establishment of ER1 and its accesses. Detailed Design of the paving, drainage, runway signs, networks and reformulation of the access road system.
