Port of Lajes – Flores
The Port of Lajes in the island of Flores is protected by a 453m long jetty, and was built mainly to serve traffic within the islands, but it also entails other purposes. Besides serving ocean vessels up to 100m long and drafts up to 22 feet, the port has a dock for trade with seabed levels of (-7.00)CD, two fishing berths and a 19,000m2 embankment. CONSULMAR prepared all maritime and onshore works studies and was also responsible for supervising the works.
