As part of its collaboration with the Portuguese Navy, and as part of the accreditation with the National Security Authority, CONSULMAR was appointed to develop various studies.

In this context CONSULMAR prepared the Type “B” Cost Estimates for planned interventions within NATO and promoted by the Portuguese Navy. Such studies, with a similar content to the Concept Study, reported to the following:

. TBCE Communication Centre of mainland Portugal;
. TBCE for the Building of the Maritime Area Command of the Azores
. TBCE of a TX site, Azores

The participation of CONSULMAR contemplated the technical study of each of the facilities in their various specialties, as well as their budget estimates, called TBCE (Type B Cost Estimate).
