Troia Marina

The Troia peninsula, in the Sado estuary, is an area of touristic potential par excellence. The marina is located at the end of the peninsula, in front of the city of Setúbal and Arrábida Mountain. In its 2.7 ha, 184 berths are available for pleasure craft between 8 and 18 m.

The design was tested in reduced model at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering, with the accompaniment of CONSULMAR, having been considered the factors relating to the environment of the estuary itself, the sedimentation phenomena and the wave regime.

CONSULMAR, in addition to the studies, design and technical assistance, also promoted support for the promoter in the contract procurement, as well as supervision of the construction works.
