Face ao período que atravessamos, e com o objectivo de minimizar quaisquer riscos relativos ao COVID-19, a CONSULMAR decidiu implementar um Plano de Contingência que permitirá manter a operação e continuar a disponibilizar os nossos serviços da forma habitual. Underwater Crossings of Ria de Aveiro

The group of Underwater Crossings of Ria de Aveiro included the stabilization of interceptors and outfalls of the Portucel’s rejection subsystem, in the main channel of the Ria.

The works, which supervision, safety coordination and environmental control, were the responsibility of Consulmar, involved the relocation of a 1600mm diameter pipe. The intervention affected three areas in which the protection, and associated dredging, had different technical solutions, due to the different bed levels, currents and other constraints.

The intervention, with a total cost of 2.5 Meuro took place between late October 2009 and late September 2010.
