CONSULMAR – BEST TECHNICAL PROPOSAL

The phase of the technical evaluation of proposals for studies with a view to launching the tender for the new river-sea port of Saint Louis, Senegal is completed and the consortium led by CONSULMAR was ranked first. This consortium also brings together the tunisian company COMETE and Senegalese ATLAS.

The short-list was formed following the international competition launched by “OMVS – Organization Pour la Mise en Valeur du Fleuve Sénégal” and integrated companies like ARTELIA the EGISPORT and ROYAL HASKONING.

The project, funded by the International Development Association (World Bank), will be an essential infrastructure in international navigation project of the Senegal River, and comprises a terminal of general and containerized cargo, a marina, deepening the access channel and basin maneuvers, as well as the works for fixing the harbor entrance bar.
