NEW FISHING PORT IN TIMOR-LESTE

Timor-Leste will have a new fishing harbor, in Metinaro region, about 20 kilometers from the capital of the country, Dili. Deployed on a land area of about 10 hectares, this harbor that will serve the local fishing community, will feature onshore and offshore boats parking area, loading dock and load fish supplies, several shipyard warehouses, ice factory, packaging and shipping of fish, fish market and various administrative and social buildings.
Consulmar, selected for the purpose by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, will develop the studies of technical and economic feasibility, environmental impact, as well as the Project Design.
