Face ao período que atravessamos, e com o objectivo de minimizar quaisquer riscos relativos ao COVID-19, a CONSULMAR decidiu implementar um Plano de Contingência que permitirá manter a operação e continuar a disponibilizar os nossos serviços da forma habitual. A nossa equipa continuará a trabalhar, preferencialmente e maioritariamente a partir de casa, mantendo-se o escritório operacional.

NEW TERMINAL AT PORT OF LEIXÕES

(Dec.2019) CONSULMAR recently completed the Development Design of the New Terminal at Port of Leixões, prepared for APDL.

This Terminal is designed to handle containerized goods, either in conventional systems, using quay gantry cranes, or in Ro-Ro transport systems.

The New Terminal intends to respond to the growing demand for this type of traffic that reached saturation in the port of Leixões already some years ago, with an urgent need to increase the handling and parking capacity of containers in this port so important for the north of Portugal economy.

In this stage of the Development Design, several solutions are being evaluated those combine alternatives for terminal layout with alternative structural solutions for the pier.

The New Terminal project will overlap, in part, with the current adjacent fishing port, which is why it was also the object of these studies define solutions to compensate the changes in the current conditions of the fishing port of Matosinhos.
