Port of Salrei – Ilha da Boavista, Cape Verde

CONSULMAR, integrating the team of the Portuguese consortium responsible for the construction, was in charge of the Detailed Design of the Expansion works of the Port of Sal Rei in Boavista Island, which total investment is in the order of 30Meuro, co-financed by the Portuguese and Cape Verdean States.

The Detailed Design contemplated sheltering works, the implementation of three new quays and adjacent embankments, as well as the technical infrastructure, the road network, technical buildings and projects of supporting works. The construction of the works started in 2009.

In addition to the Detailed Design, the services of CONSULMAR include technical assistance during the physical model tests related to the redefinition of the breakwater, due to a change In the Preliminary Design.
