Face ao período que atravessamos, e com o objectivo de minimizar quaisquer riscos relativos ao COVID-19, a CONSULMAR decidiu implementar um Plano de Contingência que permitirá manter a operação e continuar a disponibilizar os nossos serviços da forma habitual. A nossa equipa continuará a trabalhar, preferencialmente e maioritariamente a partir de casa, mantendo-se o escritório operacional.

TECHNICAL MISSION IN SENEGAL

In Easter week a technical mission, composed by engineers Carlos Abecasis and Miguel Robert, was in Senegal to the kick-off meeting and site visit concerning the studies for the new river-sea port of St. Louis. The designer consortium, led by CONSULMAR also gathers the Tunisian company COMETE and the Senegalese ATLAS.
The study involves securing the mouth of the Senegal River, creating a navigation channel, the rehabilitation of port infrastructure for fisheries and their conversion to the recreational boating sector, and the creation of a new fishing and commercial port.
The project, funded by the International Development Association (World Bank), will be an essential infrastructure for the international navigation project of Senegal River.
