In its latest edition, the Ingenium journal of the Engineering Association, publishes an article about the session, sponsored by the Geographical Society, under the theme “Navigating the River Douro and River Transport of Moncorvo ore”. Consulmar gave their contribution to this event, in which, according to that article, “The Eng. Luís Peixeiro presented a comprehensive study on the navigability of the Douro river, including reference to existing bottlenecks, the available and projected current capacity, based on various scenarios of traffic growth, and an analysis of the impact and viability of river transport of ore. “
